The Clearly Superior Potassium Fertilizer

KTS is the highest analysis, liquid potassium and sulfur source on the market. KTS provides immediately available potassium that is essential to many plant functions including stress tolerance, water management, enzyme activity and nutrient transport. Sulfur provides assistance in the production of amino acids, proteins, oils and chlorophyll. KTS is an ideal product for fertigation (application via irrigation) as it enables growers to effectively manage the potassium and sulfur requirements of crops.

Prevent Nitrogen Loss

In addition to its sulfur and nitrogen benefits, adding KTS to urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) solution is a cost-efficient and highly effective way of reducing nitrogen loss. KTS has nitrification inhibition properties that slow the conversion of ammonium to nitrate, in turn reducing the chances of nitrogen leaching and denitrification. KTS can also improve soil structure in high pH soils, enhance water infiltration, assist in breaking down previous crop residues, and enhance nitrogen uptake for the crop.

    Blending KTS with UAN

    Mixing any liquid potassium source, including KTS®, with an UAN solution will form potassium nitrate, KNO3. Due to KNO3’s low solubility, precipitation will occur causing the need for water. There is a limited amount of KNO3 that can dissolve in a specific amount of water at any given temperature level. In colder environments, KNO3 is less soluble.
