Soybeans
Soybeans require comprehensive fertility programs if they are to realize optimal plant health and maximize crop success. Soybeans frequently experience potassium deficiency which can be spotted as chlorosis at leaf margins and between veins. This is initially visible on older leaves. However, in severe cases, all but the youngest leaves might display these symptoms.
Stunted plants have a pale green color, which is similar in appearance to plants with a nitrogen deficiency. However, when the plant is experiencing a sulfur deficiency, chlorosis may be more apparent on the upper leaves. The deficiency is most likely to present during cool, wet conditions or in sandy soils with a low organic matter content.
